Left home Saturday morning, arrived Sydney Monday morning (having survived the nightmares of Delhi airport) in beautiful sunshine, having met Nicky, Bryony and Morgan at Heathrow. Had a good five days doing the zoo (best place to see Australian wildlife), dinosaurs, minerals and beaches and of course sights of the Opera House and harbour bridge. Morgan got stung by a jellyfish, ugh.
Then via Brisbane to Donna's tropical home on the beach. Had some tropical downpours but managed wild swimming at Finch Hatton waterfalls and the coral beach near Airlie where we saw dugongs - very rare!
It's all gone a lot too quickly.
